Sarah Streett, MD

Dr. Streett attended Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York and Wadham College in Oxford, England before receiving her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1991. She completed her internship, residency, and fellowship in Gastroenterology at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Streett taught Stanford University residents and fellows at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Hospital. Currently, she practices at Kaiser Permanente in Vallejo, California with a primary focus in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Dr. Streett is dedicated to the field of gastroenterology and is in the process of establishing a center for the treatment of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis to both foster excellence in patient care and facilitate clinical research in IBD. She is committed to improving women’s health and served on the American Gastroenterology Association’s (AGA) Task Force for Women in Gastroenterology. In addition to the AGA, Dr. Streett is also a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the CCFA.
